Management threw a serious challenge to our engineering team requesting a completely new (from the ground up) machine that could be incorporated and utilized with our stretch-to-load bolting technologies.

This was not to be just a re-engineered version of the largest selling hydraulic torque machine of all time, our famous MXT series… but a unique machine capable of much, much more.

The challenge was met, the AVANTI DR has arrived… and it has definitely been worth the wait!

The AVANTI DR streamlines and simplifies your bolting requirements by providing coverage for both your torque and tension applications with the same system!

The AVANTI is designed to permit reaction arm interchangeability to assure safe and proper fit. The coaxial drive reaction is engineered to avoid destructive internal tool torsion. It allows positioning of the tool away from an obstacle to avoid damage to the tool or the application. When an adjacent nut or other suitable reaction point is not readily available, the AVANTI can be used with the coaxial cylinder reaction. This provides excellent versatility especially against a round or angled application and minimizes reaction arm slippage during operation.

Many applications require additional reaction accessories to ensure safe operation of the HYTORC system.

To eliminate all reaction related headaches, we recommend the use of our LoaDisc or Clamp stretch-to-load bolting technologies. However, due to OEM engineering restrictions, approval for these upgrades is often difficult and very time consuming.

In an attempt to handle these difficult situations, HYTORC has available a number of reaction accessories for the AVANTI DR that improves equipment fit and minimize potential hazards for the operator during operation. Reaction Fixture Torque: The unique design of the AVANTI DR (and the standard AVANTI) allows for coaxial drive reaction, coaxial cylinder reaction as well as custom/adjustable reaction fixtures to be used. These provide a safe and effective method of reaction on applications where the standard/supplied reaction arm will not be suitable. These fixtures are interchangeable between the AVANTI DR and the AVANTI.

The use of a sliding/adjustable reaction fixture eliminates reaction headaches on problematic applications!
